QuanTEM Laboratories was founded in Oklahoma City in 1989, and has since been providing quality service to our clients.

As implied by our name, QuanTEM's original mission was a specialization in transmission electron microscopy (TEM). In recent years, we have become an industry leader in asbestos analysis, earning praise from our customers and accreditation from the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP).


QuanTEM is the only laboratory recognized for lead analysis by the AIHA in the state of Oklahoma. QuanTEM is ELLAP accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (Lab Code 101352) for the analysis of lead in air, soil, paint, and dust.

In 1998, QuanTEM added mold and microbiological testing, becoming one of the first environmental testing laboratories to specialize in the analysis of mold samples. In the fall of 2003, following months of preparation, QuanTEM earned EMLAP Accreditation by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (Lab Code 101352).
